Strautmann Forage Silage Wagons

The Strautmann range of forage silage wagons are available from 23m to 52m cubic metres capacities with 32-50 knives. Strautmann Forage Wagons are Market leaders in the silage forage wagon design, ideal for farmers and contracting use.  All Strautmann forage silage wagons utilise the CFS system which means precise and consistent forage chop whilst keeping the HP requirement down to a minimum to ensure cost-effectiveness and excellent quality silage.

Continuous-Flow System (CFS)

Due to the interaction of different components, the CFS unit ensures a high charging performance with low power required. Pick-up, CFS roller, rotor and double-cut cutting unit are perfectly matched and complement each other. This results in an excellent silage quality and also in easy towing and thus saving in power, money and time. The picked-up green fodder is dispersed by the pick-up and the accelerator drum and fed to the rotor and cutting unit over the entire width.
